The Serbian national competition authority (NCA) has launched two antitrust investigations against companies active in the retail of consumer electronics in Serbia. Interestingly, the NCA decided to open the investigations to establish how come consumer electronics are more expensive in Serbia than in neighboring Hungary.

Even in the middle of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Serbian national competition authority (NCA) is continuing with its regular merger control operations – it has announced it has started a Phase II probe of a planned takeover in the phytopharmacy sector.
By far the most interesting development in the competition law of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the first conditional merger clearance in the history of the country’s national competition authority – the Competition Council.
